Gen Z earns 12% more at 24 than millennials did
Better pay could improve early working life for many young adults, although some remain outside jobs or education. Research from the Resolution Foundation, published on Monday ahead of a report due later this week, found people born in the late 1990s earned more at age 24 than those born in the late 1980s. Real weekly pay at 24 was 12% higher, while bottom earners saw rises of 36% between 2012 and 2025.
