Police investigate after three women found in Brighton sea
Beach areas near Brighton were closed as emergency crews searched the shoreline and sea. Around 5:45 AM on Wednesday, Sussex Police received a call regarding three women in the water off Madeira Drive, whose bodies were later found. The operation was augmented by the deployment of helicopters, coastguard personnel, and vessels from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution based in Brighton and Shoreham, occurring concurrently as detectives endeavored to ascertain the identities of the women.
