Wales finds £55m for more two-year-old childcare

The Welsh government is spending an extra £55m this year to create 3,300 new childcare places for two-year-olds. Plaid Cymru, leading the government, found the cash for 12.5 hours a week, with budget details due 23 June. The money, from around £300m of unspent Labour budget, also includes £10m for enhancing childcare settings.
