Red Bull signs Honda deal for old engines
Testing plans get a boost as teams gain access to older equipment for development work. Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls agreed a new deal with Honda to use earlier power units for testing previous cars over the next two seasons, reported on April 11, 2026. The arrangement allows use of engines from at least two-year-old cars, required for TPC testing programmes.
