Organisers Say 500,000, Police Say 50,000: London March Divides
Around 50,000 people, per police estimates, marched through central London on Saturday against the far right, organised by the Together Alliance. Celebrities including Billy Bragg performed while Sir Lenny Henry backed the event. Two people were arrested at the march for criminal damage and public nuisance. Organisers claimed attendance of up to 500,000.
