South East Water Faces Investigation After Supply Cuts
Regulator Ofwat has launched an investigation into South East Water (SEW) following repeated water supply disruptions affecting tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Kent and Sussex since November. At one point, 30,000 customers were without water, and approximately 10,000 properties remained without a supply. The investigation will assess whether SEW breached its license conditions regarding customer service and support. Tunbridge Wells MP Mike Martin has criticized SEW's response as unacceptable.
