Tesco says Iran war clouds profit outlook

Higher costs and weaker spending could affect shoppers and retail prices. Tesco said uncertainty from the Iran war is weighing on its profit outlook for the 2026/27 financial year, with results released on April 16. It expects adjusted operating profit between £3.0 billion and £3.3 billion, compared with £3.152 billion in 2025/26.
