Blue Origin's TeraWave to Rival Starlink with Satellite Network
Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin is launching TeraWave, a satellite network of 5,408 satellites, to compete with Starlink. Scheduled for deployment in late 2027, TeraWave aims to deliver speeds up to 6 terabits per second for enterprise, data center, and government users. Unlike Starlink and Amazon's Leo, which target individual consumers, TeraWave focuses on providing reliable, high-speed connectivity for critical operations. Amazon's Leo plans to have over 3,000 satellites, while Starlink already has over 9,000 in orbit.
