Sturgeon on ex-husband's £400k: 'Not my actions'
Questions over SNP finances remain after Peter Murrell admitted taking more than £400,000 from party funds during his time as chief executive. Nicola Sturgeon said at the Hay Festival on 29 May that she should not answer for actions carried out by her estranged husband and denied knowing about the wrongdoing. Murrell, 61, pleaded guilty after money was taken between 2010 and 2022.
