Anthropic drops Claude Opus 4.7

Anthropic drops Claude Opus 4.7

Anthropic launched Claude Opus 4.7 today, pitching it as a direct upgrade to Opus 4.6 at the same price. The model can now process images three times sharper up to 2,576 pixels and scored 70% on Cursor’s coding benchmark versus Opus 4.6’s 58%. It remains less capable than Anthropic’s top-tier Mythos Preview, whose release is limited over cybersecurity concerns.
