City & Guilds saves 400 UK jobs

This deal means hundreds of UK roles at the vocational training provider will no longer be cut or moved abroad. PeopleCert, the Greek company that bought City & Guilds last year, had planned to remove about 400 jobs. The union Unite said negotiations secured a financial settlement, largely avoiding compulsory job losses for staff.
