UK breweries now 2,320 as numbers fall

The UK beer industry is shrinking, with many businesses closing and fewer new ones opening. Last year, 320 brewing businesses shut across the UK, while only 170 were incorporated, leading to a net loss of 150. As of April, the total number of UK beer brewing companies fell to 2,320, down from 2,594 in 2022.
