Cows Block Rail Line, Trains Face Long Delays
Thousands of passengers faced cancellations and long delays after rail services were interrupted across Britain. A herd of cows wandered onto the West Coast Main Line in Staffordshire shortly before 9am on Tuesday, stopping trains on the route for more than three hours. Disruption was expected until 4pm, with alternative routes accepting tickets for affected journeys.
