Zelenskyy Raises Army Pay and Seeks Recruits
Higher military pay and new contract options are intended to help fill gaps in troop numbers after four years of fighting. On Friday, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine would increase wages for service members and expand efforts to bring in volunteers from other countries. Frontline infantry are set to receive about 300,000 hryvnias a month, while Kyiv has secured a €90bn EU loan.
