NatWest puts £50m into branch network

People using face-to-face banking could see improved local services after plans were set out to update parts of the bank’s network. NatWest said on 5 June it will spend £50m over the next 18 months and won't shut any more branches before 2029. Nine sites are still due to close as part of the changes, after more than 1,000 locations were shut during the past decade.
