London faces another Tube strike on May 19
London commuters are bracing for more transport chaos after the RMT confirmed the next Tube strike will hit on Tuesday 19 May. Drivers are walking out over Transport for London's plan to introduce a compressed four-day working week, which the union says raises serious concerns about shift lengths and fatigue. The current dispute runs through to 19 June, with the Elizabeth line, Overground and DLR expected to keep running during strike days.
