UK and Switzerland agree new travel and trade deal

British nationals will soon use e-gates at Swiss airports and won't pay mobile phone roaming charges under a new trade deal. Prime Minister Keir Starmer sealed the agreement, which aims to unlock about £5.2 billion a year in UK services exports to Switzerland. The agreement additionally permits UK services professionals to travel without a visa for periods not exceeding 90 days annually.
