UK Bills Could Climb By £160 In July
UK households may see energy bills climb considerably in July, potentially worse than effects from the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Gas costs jumped after military action by the US and Israel began in Iran, and a large Qatar plant also halted production over a week ago. The UK's gas storage holds only two days' worth, exposing consumers more to price rises, despite ministers being confident in overall supply.
