Analysts warned that it could take weeks for global energy supplies to recover even if the Strait of Hormuz fully reopens under the ceasefire agreement. The International Energy Agency has called the disruption the most significant supply shock in the history of the global oil market. Shipping insurers said the region remains at heightened risk and that most stranded tankers will not move until owners and crews are confident it is safe.
