Green leader Polanski missed local election vote

The Green Party leader did not cast a ballot in last week's local elections in London, despite previously telling a candidate she had his vote. Zack Polanski failed to update his address on the electoral register after moving into rented accommodation as a lodger. His spokesperson cited "heightened intrusion and safety risk" and the "extra process" for anonymous registration as reasons.
