Two jailed for China spying in UK
It's the first conviction of its kind under the new National Security Act, with a judge saying their actions caused real harm. Peter Wai, a former Metropolitan Police officer, and Bill Yuen, a retired Hong Kong officer, were jailed on Thursday for assisting Chinese intelligence. Wai got 10 years for 'shadow policing' pro-democracy protesters, while Yuen received an eight-year sentence.
