Russia blamed for cyberattacks in Denmark water utility
Denmark has formally accused Russia of conducting two destructive cyberattacks, labeling them evidence of hybrid warfare. The Danish Defence Intelligence Service attributed one attack targeting a water utility in Køge that caused burst pipes to the pro-Russian group Z-Pentest, while distributed denial-of-service attacks on election-related websites were linked to NoName057(16), a group with Russian state connections. Denmark plans to summon Russia's ambassador over the incidents, which officials describe as attempts to create insecurity and punish Ukraine supporters.
