Michelin restaurateur Vikas Nath guilty of spiking woman's drink with GBL

A jury found 63-year-old Michelin-starred restaurateur Vikas Nath guilty of attempting to drug a woman at London's exclusive Annabel's club. On January 15, 2024, staff caught Nath lacing the victim's margarita with Class B drug GBL using a straw. Police seized two bottles of the substance and a motion-activated camera pointed at his bed in his Knightsbridge home. While Nath claimed he intended to "relax" her, prosecutors proved he planned to overpower her for sex.
