UK Sends Warship HMS Dragon to Cyprus

The UK government is sending the Royal Navy warship HMS Dragon, a Type 45 Destroyer, to Cyprus. Two Wildcat helicopters are also being deployed, equipped with Martlet missiles to counter drone attacks. This action aims to bolster security around RAF Akrotiri after a recent drone strike on the air base. HMS Dragon is expected to reach the region in about five to seven days.
