Formula 1: The £12bn UK economic engine no one expected

More jobs, business activity and local spending are linked to Formula 1 across Britain. Ahead of this weekend's British Grand Prix, figures showed the sport adds £12bn a year to the UK economy, while Silverstone is expected to generate more than £100m for nearby areas. Around 41,000 jobs are supported through 4,500 companies.
