Dubai Airport Evacuated as Iranian Missile Debris Causes Damage, 4 Injured
Dubai International Airport the world’s busiest was evacuated and all flights suspended after Iranian missile debris caused minor damage to a concourse during Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Gulf states. The UAE’s air defence intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, but falling debris injured four airport staff and killed one person elsewhere in the UAE. Emirates, flydubai and Etihad suspended all operations. The Dubai Media Office warned against spreading unverified footage circulating on social media.
