Philippine quake kills 55, 38 still missing
Over 390,000 people have been affected by a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the southern Philippines on Monday. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the country's disaster agency, confirmed on Friday that 55 people were killed and 1,120 hurt. Search and rescue operations are underway with over 3,700 personnel, as approximately 38 people are still unaccounted for.
