Jeffrey Donaldson Trial Starts In Newry Court
Northern Ireland politics could face more strain as court proceedings over a former unionist leader begin under tight security. Jeffrey Donaldson, 63, appeared in Newry on Tuesday over 18 criminal accusations involving two complainants, while his wife Eleanor faced separate proceedings after a judge ruled her mental health meant she couldn't face trial.
