Comcast in talks to buy ITV’s broadcasting arm
Comcast Corporation, the owner of Sky is in negotiations to acquire the media and entertainment division of ITV plc. The business being discussed covers ITV’s free-to-air television operations and the ITVX streaming service, and may be valued at roughly $2 billion. The production arm, ITV Studios, is reported to be excluded from the talks.
