52% of GOP Staffers Say Hegseth Hurts Trump Policy
A significant portion of Republican congressional staff believe Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's actions negatively impact President Trump's foreign policy direction. A Punchbowl News survey, carried out from February 10 to March 2, showed 52% of Republican aides hold this view. Hegseth's 13-month tenure also involved a Signal group chat security breach and oversight of the war in Iran.
