Iran blames US for water cutoff to 20,000 in 45C heat

Drinking water supplies have been cut off for 20,000 residents, leaving nearby communities facing severe conditions in temperatures above 45C. Earlier today, Iran said US military fire destroyed two water storage sites in the Bimani area of Sirik, on the coast near the Strait of Hormuz. According to Abfa Hormozgan, the facilities served Kohstak and 10 neighbouring villages, while local groundwater can't quickly replace the lost supply.
