Three Lebanese army members were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Saturday, a serious blow to stability just days after a new ceasefire deal. An Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle in southern Lebanon, killing a brigadier general, a captain, and another soldier. Another strike in the village of Saksakiyah killed six more people, bringing the total dead to nine.
