Met Police examine two £250,000 Reform UK donations from May 2024
The Metropolitan Police are examining two donations, each for £250,000, given to Reform UK in May 2024 by Fiona Cottrell. Her son, George Cottrell, is a convicted fraudster and an associate of Nigel Farage. The investigation, launched in February 2025 after an Electoral Commission referral, focuses on whether the donations aimed to hide an impermissible donor.
