30 Dead at Haiti's UNESCO Fortress After Crush
At least 30 people, many of them young, were killed and others injured in a crowd crush at a popular tourist site in Haiti. The stampede occurred on Saturday at Citadelle Henri, a 19th-century mountaintop fortress in northern Haiti. Culture Minister Emmanuel Menard confirmed the deaths and announced the UNESCO World Heritage Site is closed until further notice.
