Hezbollah attacks Israel, avenging Iran leader's death
The conflict has expanded to Lebanon, where the Israel Defense Forces are attacking Hezbollah positions. Hezbollah sent missiles and unmanned aircraft towards Israel, stating these actions avenged the death of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Israeli forces started their strikes in Lebanon after stopping a projectile that came from Lebanese territory. Evacuations have been reported in Beirut’s southern suburbs following Israeli air attacks.
