44-year-old arrested after Birmingham van incident

A man in his thirties suffered a broken leg requiring surgery after a van hit him in Birmingham. Police arrested a 44-year-old man in London on suspicion of wounding, following the Thursday evening incident where the driver failed to stop. He was detained at Euston station, having arrived for a "Unite the Kingdom" protest.
