London bank fined £165,000 for Russia rule breach.
A £165,000 penalty has been issued to the bank's London operations for breaking Russia sanctions rules. The UK Treasury's OFSI found the bank processed two payments in mid-2022, for a sanctioned Russian entity. These transactions, totalling £635,618.75, went to Okko, a streaming company owned by sanctioned JSC New Opportunities.
