Ethics Adviser Won't Probe PM's Envoy Despite Epstein Warnings
Concerns regarding a senior political appointment will not lead to an official investigation by the ethics adviser. Sir Laurie Magnus, the independent ethics adviser, confirmed on Friday he won't investigate Sir Keir Starmer over Lord Mandelson's US ambassador role. Previously released documents showed the Prime Minister was warned of reputational risks regarding Lord Mandelson and Jeffrey Epstein.
