Barcelona to feature on F1 calendar in rotational deal with Spa
Formula 1 has agreed a new contract that keeps the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix on the calendar for three of the next six seasons, alternating with the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps. Under the terms, Barcelona will host races in 2028, 2030 and 2032, joining this year’s event, despite losing the Spanish Grand Prix title to a new Madrid race. Organisers cited local investment and strong fan support in securing the deal.
