Six planets to align in rare night sky parade
Skywatchers across the UK are set to witness an unusual planetary display this month, with six planets lining up along the night sky. Although the alignment reaches its global peak on 28 February, conditions are expected to be best over London on 1 March. Venus, Mercury and Jupiter should be visible soon after sunset without equipment, while Uranus and Neptune will need binoculars. The event occurs as the planets follow the same orbital path around the Sun.
