Energy boss says gas won't be under $3 until 2027
Drivers across the US could experience elevated gas prices for several more years. Trump administration energy secretary Chris Wright suggested on Sunday that US gas prices might not return below $3 a gallon until 2027. This marks a shift from his 15 March statement, when he said there was a "very good chance" prices would fall under $3 by summer.
