Man City's Sverre Nypan, 19, loaned to Belgian team Lommel SK

Manchester City's Norwegian midfielder Sverre Nypan has moved to Belgian team Lommel SK on a season-long loan after a difficult first half of 2025-26. City signed the 19-year-old for about £12.5 million in July 2025, expecting him to quickly progress to the first team. Nypan made only three starts and 17 substitute appearances for Middlesbrough last season.
