Welsh residents well despite hantavirus ship link
The general public faces a very low risk from a recent hantavirus outbreak, as the virus doesn't spread through casual daily contact. Public Health Wales is supporting a small number of Welsh residents linked to a ship outbreak, who are well and not showing symptoms. These residents are receiving regular precautionary testing and daily assessments throughout their self-isolation.
