FCA closes Euro Exchange Securities after court ruling
Customers are waiting for their money back after a London payments business was stopped from operating and withdrawals were blocked. Britain's Financial Conduct Authority secured approval from the High Court on Thursday to place Euro Exchange Securities UK Ltd into administration after concerns about financial crime controls. Duncan Perring and James Bennett of Teneo Financial Advisory were confirmed as joint special administrators, having already frozen funds and gathered material.
