Yvette Cooper concerned ministers weren't told of vetting issues
Ministers were not informed about concerns over Lord Mandelson's vetting, potentially affecting information given to Parliament. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper expressed "extreme concern" and asked for a review of the information provided to the Foreign Affairs Committee. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also called it "staggering" that he wasn't told Lord Mandelson had failed security vetting.
