EU plans under-13 social media ban by autumn.
Families across Europe could see tighter limits on children's online access if the plans become law. Ursula von der Leyen said on Monday the European Commission will prepare legislation by autumn after an expert panel recommended delaying access to social media for under-13s. Jörg Fegert and Maria Melchior co-chaired the group, which also urged a staged approach for older children.
