England's NHS gets new single patient record
Patients will receive safer, quicker, and more accurate healthcare, as they won't need to constantly repeat their medical history at appointments. The NHS Modernisation Bill, introduced this week, requires GPs and hospitals across England to share patient data. This new single patient record system is part of a £10 billion digitisation of the health service.
