Cost of a Pint Tops £10 in London for First Time
London drinkers are crossing a symbolic price threshold, with some high-end bars now charging £10 or more for a pint. Stanley's rooftop bar in Mayfair charges £10 for Guinness and £11 for Moretti. The Connaught Grill charges £12.50 for a 330ml bottle of Noam lager. The rises follow Diageo's 5.2 percent wholesale price increase from April.
