Trump threatens Iran's civilian sites after Gulf attacks; oil licence revoked
America's ceasefire with Iran seems to be over, with President Trump threatening to hit civilian infrastructure and seize Kharg Island, which has oil facilities. The US carried out strikes early on Wednesday, withdrawing a licence for Iranian oil sales following supposed vessel attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran retaliated with strikes on Bahrain and Kuwait, causing oil prices to spike over 5% for Brent crude.
