Mandelson firm took millions from military-tied company
Peter Mandelson's overseas business links caused the UK Security Vetting agency to recommend against him becoming ambassador to America. His firm, Global Counsel, had WuXi AppTec, a company connected to China's army, as its main client, leaked documents showed. This company paid Global Counsel £2.24 million last year, with the Pentagon stating it helps the Chinese military.
